The History of Kinection

Founded in response to a growing need for more effective, worker-centred vocational rehabilitation, Kinection was established to bridge the gap between recovery and sustainable return to work. From the outset, our focus has been on functional restoration, collaboration, and outcomes that work for both employees and employers. We have expanded our services and refined our approach to meet the evolving needs of workplaces, insurers, and injured or ill workers. Our model integrates evidence-based practices, early intervention, and coordinated return-to-work planning. Today, Kinection partners with employers, insurers, and service providers to support timely recovery and durable workplace outcomes across Canada.
