Taryn Gilfoy, Executive Lead, Behavioural Activation & Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant
Taryn brings over 18 years of combined education and experience in vocational rehabilitation, disability management, and functionally based occupational rehabilitation programs.
With an educational background in Kinesiology, she holds a Canadian Certified Vocational Rehabilitation provider designation (CVRP-TSA), is a certified provider of the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAPTM), trained Functional Capacity Evaluator (FCE, WorkWells) and designated ergonomics specialist. She brings a diverse and impactful skillset that is uniquely placed at the core of Kinection Rehabilitation's service offerings.
Through her additional training in Work Simulation/Work Hardening (cognitive and physical), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she has developed strengths in navigating complex and chronic health conditions and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

Jenn Daigle,
Lead of Program Development,
Behavioural Activation & Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant
Jenn is an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant specializing in rehabilitation case management, functional behavioral interventions, and RTW Readiness programs. She is known for her keen eye for detail and passion for analysis. Jenn excels in assessing client needs, developing tailored rehabilitation plans, and measuring progress effectively. Her commitment to a strengths-based approach ensures clients are empowered to reach their full potential and achieve sustainable results.
Jenn holds a Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation, a Diploma in Human Services, is a certified provider of the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAPTM) and is pursuing her Canadian Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP) designation. She continues to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of rehabilitation. She is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for clients through innovative strategies and a compassionate, client-centered approach.

Amanda Rutherford, Social Worker, Behavioural Activation and Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant
Amanda Rutherford (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker and Vocational Rehabilitation Practitioner dedicated to supporting individuals in restoring function, confidence, and purpose following short or long-term absences from the workforce. Her practice is grounded in anti-oppressive and intersectional frameworks, ensuring that each client’s diverse identities and experiences are respected and valued. She is guided by the Canadian Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics and is dedicated to promoting autonomy, equity, and well-being through collaborative and compassionate programming.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with a minor in Educational Psychology and a passion for emotion-focused counselling. Drawing on her background as an educator, she applies evidence-informed strategies that promote self-efficacy and adaptive learning. Her practice integrates strength-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed approaches, emphasizing collaborative goal setting and holistic recovery.

Catherine Young,
Behavioural Activation and Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant
Cat is an experienced vocational rehabilitation consultant with specialized expertise in rehabilitation case management, disability management, return-to-work readiness programming, and behavioural interventions. Recognized for her proactive, solutions-focused approach, assessment abilities, and exceptional communication skills, Cat excels at building meaningful relationships and delivering innovative, client-centred services that lead to sustainable, successful outcomes.
Cat holds an academic background in psychology and kinesiology and is committed to ongoing professional development within the field of vocational rehabilitation.

Cami Malbeuf,
Behavioural Activation and Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant
Cami is a dedicated Vocational Rehabilitation and Case Management Specialist with over 10 years of experience supporting trauma-impacted and multi-barrier clients in their return-to-work journey. With expertise in assessments, reactivation planning, PGAP, transferable skills analysis, and coordinating treatment plans, she collaborates closely with employers, insurers, and healthcare providers to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
Cami holds RTWDM and CVRP-TSA certifications, is fluent in French and English, and is highly proficient with virtual case management systems. Cami is committed to empowering individuals through client-focused rehabilitation strategies.

Alexa Ceh,
Counsellor & Behavioural Activation Consultant
Alexa is a counsellor and vocational rehabilitation consultant who brings a strong blend of clinical, assessment, and rehabilitation experience to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, and has completed doctoral-level training in clinical psychology with a focus on psychological assessment and psychotherapy.
In addition to her counselling role, Alexa is PGAP certified and has extensive experience supporting clients whose mental health, chronic health conditions, or injuries have impacted their daily functioning and work capacity.

Heather Nagel, Social Worker, Behavioural Activation and Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant
Heather is a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant based in Medicine Hat, AB. With a background in social work, Heather has a special interest in Activation while bringing experience in mental health, chronic condition management, and return-to-work support. Heather has enjoyed working with employees, providers, and employers to promote return-to-work success and sustainability through a solution-focused lens.
